Project DIGI-CORE

This is the website of the project "Digital Inclusiveness for CSO and Citizen Engagement in Regional Cooperation" (DIGI-CORE), financed by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs through a regional grant under the project the "SMART Balkans - Civil Society for Common Values in the Western Balkans", which is implemented by the Center for Civil Society Promotion (CPCD), Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM) and Center for Research and Policy Making (CRPM). The DIGI-CORE project is implemented by the Social Center for Helping People in Need (QSNNN) in Albania, in partnership with the Edutask Institute in Kosovo and Center for Social Innovations Blink 42-21 in North Macedonia.

By bridging the digital divide, we empower marginalized communities, including rural women, the elderly, and disadvantaged populations, to access opportunities, participate in decision-making processes, and advocate for their rights.

Regional cooperation is vital for fostering peaceful and constructive relationships among neighboring countries. By collaborating across borders, Albania, Kosovo, and North Macedonia can tackle shared challenges, enhance mutual understanding, and align with Euro-Atlantic integration goals.

Good governance is the foundation of a thriving society. Transparency, accountability, and citizen engagement are essential for building trust between the public and authorities. Through innovative digital solutions like the mCommunity platform and targeted capacity-building programs, DIGI-CORE is paving the way for more inclusive, transparent, and effective governance in the Western Balkans. Together, we are working to ensure no one is left behind in the digital transition.
